The first periodic inspection falls to INAIL (the Italian national institute for workplace insurance); subsequent ones are carried out by local health authorities or authorised bodies on the ministerial registers. The firm supports the employer throughout: scheduling, assistance during inspections, supplementary investigations and restoring compliance.
Italian Legislative Decree 81/08 provides for criminal and administrative penalties (fines and, in the most serious cases, detention), as well as equipment stoppage. In the event of an accident, missing inspections seriously aggravate the employer's civil and criminal position.
For placing in service and notifying lifting equipment with a capacity above 200 kg, pressure vessels and assemblies, earthing systems and lightning protection. The procedure runs on INAIL's CIVA portal: we handle it entirely.
Yes. UNI EN 15635 requires periodic inspections (the “expert” one at least yearly) and up-to-date load notices; after impacts or configuration changes the racking must be re-verified. In seismic zones the structural verification follows EN 16681.
For all activities listed in Annex I to Presidential Decree 151/2011 (for example warehouses and storage above certain areas and quantities, heating plants, car parks). Compliance must then be renewed every 5 years.
Yes: visual (VT), magnetic particle (MT) and ultrasonic (UT) testing of welded joints is performed directly at the client's premises or site, with inspection reports issued by a Level II UNI EN ISO 9712 qualified operator.
