MEWP periodic inspections

What we do

  • Inventory of the MEWP fleet and identification of the equipment covered by the duty added to Annex VII of Legislative Decree 81/2008
  • Planning of the three-yearly deadlines and management of the inspection calendar
  • Reconstruction and organisation of the technical documentation: equipment record, EC declaration, control register, maintenance history
  • Technical assistance during the inspection carried out by INAIL, the local health authority or an authorised body
  • Supplementary investigations and condition assessment on older platforms
  • Coordination with planned maintenance, pre-use checks and operator training, which remain separate obligations

Methodology

The work starts from an inventory of the equipment and a review of the available documentation, to establish which MEWPs fall under the duty and with what deadlines. Technical and documentary preparation for the inspection follows, so that the equipment is presented for the check with a complete record. Any anomalies found are classified and accompanied by the necessary corrective actions, in continuity with the lifting equipment inspection work already carried out by the firm.

Who it is for
