Services

Racking safety officer (PRSES)

What we do

  • Support with the appointment of the PRSES and definition of role, duties and responsibilities under UNI EN 15635
  • PRSES training: inspection criteria, damage recognition, severity classification and resulting actions
  • Set-up of the control register and of the procedures for weekly visual inspections
  • Annual third-party technical inspection required by UNI EN 15635, with written report and proposed actions
  • Extraordinary inspections following impacts, configuration changes or exceptional events
  • Integration of the racking section into the risk assessment document and check of load notices

Methodology

The process starts from an analysis of the warehouse and of the available documentation, in order to define the PRSES's role and scope. Training follows, built around real cases found in your own facility: recognising a dented upright or a deformed connector in your own warehouse is worth more than any theoretical lesson. The annual inspection is carried out as a third party following UNI EN 15635 criteria, with anomalies classified by risk level (green, amber, red) and indication of corrective actions and timescales.

Who it is for

Manufacturing and logistics companies with pallet racking, cantilever racking or mezzanines: the duty to appoint a PRSES concerns every business using storage equipment.
